The High Concept of 'Aliena' is that of a dystopian world where the namesake country, Aliena (formerly the United States) and Korea have conspired to seize world power through the use of man-made catastrophes, K-Pop idols, and the scientific prolonging of life.
The High Concept applies to our entire storyworld because it is through a man-made disaster that the entire world is forever reshaped. Not only is the world reshaped because of the nefarious and self-serving actions of power-hungry political operatives, but so are socioeconomic constructs, social statuses and hierarchies, government influence, and cultural customs.
